If your business has multiple distinct products, it's typically advisable to have a unique Receptive account for each one. (Then you can divide up each account/product using modules.)
However, you may want to use one Receptive account for all of your products, with the help of modules to separate out your account. This is entirely possible, but there are some items you'll want to think through before making a decision:
You will need to select one logo across your entire Receptive account. Do you have one brand that can connect all of your products? If so, modules could work.
Your account settings, such as the ones listed below, will remain the same across all modules.
- Customer anonymity
- White label email
- White label domain
- Custom saved responses
- Customer + team email notifications
- Your request form
- Team permissions
If you need separate domains, emails, or settings, you may want to consider separate Receptive accounts for each product.
Customers and teams
Your customer and team lists in Receptive will be a combination of all of your products. You can easily use tags and modules to configure the correct access and settings, but this is just something to be aware of.
Each Receptive account can only integrate with one Salesforce, Zendesk, or JIRA account. If you have separate accounts for each of your products, you'll want to use separate Receptive accounts.
How do we avoid duplicating customers with multiple integrations?
Receptive handles this for you by assigning an ID to each customer.
