NOTE: This article explains how to set up the Zendesk integration with Receptive. For help on how to use the integration once it has been set up, head here.
We recommend setting up the Receptive integration in order to populate customer records in Zendesk, but in the meantime you can easily create new records from within Zendesk.
What you need to install the Zendesk integration:
In order to get started, you need:
- Admin access to Zendesk, including the ability to add/configure apps.
- Your Zendesk domain
How to install and set up the Receptive/Pendo Feedback app in Zendesk
For accounts based in US datacenters:
- Send the domain for your Zendesk account to help@pendo.io. For example, www.examplesite.zendesk.com.
- We'll send you a link to install the Zendesk app.
- Follow the link & configure the settings you would like. This completes the integration set-up.
For accounts based in EU datacenters:
- From the Pendo Feedback app page on Zendesk, click "Get it" and log in to your Zendesk account.
- Send the domain for your Zendesk account to help@pendo.io. For example, www.examplesite.zendesk.com.
- We'll quickly complete your integration setup and let you know when it’s ready.
