Receptive's built-in engagement emails are the best way of spurring your customers into actions and having them submit their requests and engage with other people's ideas.
But you may not have realized that they also serve as a fantastic way to introduce your customers to Receptive when you first get started.
A brief paragraph at the start of the engagement email provides an effective way to show your customers what Receptive is all about, and how they can use it to provide feedback.
Here are two examples of some introductory text which you can post at the top of your first engagement email. Feel free to use this wording, just be sure to update to fit your situation and customer login options!
You're receiving this email because we've recently started implementing a service called Receptive. It provides a platform for your feedback, enabling you to submit your own requests and ideas, as well as vote and comment on other customers' ideas.
The platform allows us to be completely transparent and open with you about where we're taking our product, and it allows us to truly listen to what you have to say. We'd love for you to come and take a look around, and maybe even suggest some ideas for us. Thanks!
What is Receptive?
- Get timely feedback on requests from product decision makers
- Gain greater insight into upcoming releases
- Increase your impact on feature development
See how to use Receptive here.
To use one of these introductions, or one of your own, click on "Customers" on the left-hand navigation. Then click the button which says "Engage More Customers":
You can then edit the email. We recommend pasting the above introduction into the header of the email so that it's one of the first things your customer will see:
